According to the decision of developing in line with Shanghai and building up the manufacturing industrial area around Hangzhou Bay by CPC Zhejiang Committee and Zhejiang provincial government, CPC Pinghu Committee and Pinghu Municipal Government set up Pinghu Du Shan Port Development Zone (following abbreviated as “PDDZ) which belongs to an important area of building up the manufacturing industrial area around Hangzhou Bay.

　　With complete infrastructure and other complete-set facilities, PDDZ lies in the northeast of Zhejiang province and borders Shanghai with total planning area of 62 square km. It is about one hour’s drive to Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo separately. Therefore, its geographic location is very convenient and unique. PDDZ is located at the central region of Yangtze River Delta.
